Rainer Mahlamäki to give lecture in Prague, 13th November 2017
Rainer Mahlamäki will give a lecture in Prague on Monday as part of the November Talks series produced by the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University. His talk will cover how Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects approach the design of memorials. Such projects have become quite a specialty for the architectural practice, with highly successful projects such as Polin, the Museum for the History of Polish Jews, the finalist for the UK Holocaust Memorial in London, Tapiola Church Yard in Espoo and The Lost Shtetl in Lithuania.
The talk is part of an ongoing series, funded by the non-profit Sto Foundation, which this month features MVRDV's Jacob van Rijs, Kees Christiaanse of KCAP and Farshid Moussavi.
Time: 18:30-21:30
Date: 13th November 2017
Location: Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague, Thákurova 9, 166 34 Prague, Czech Republic
